Even though all the yarns I am using on the hats and scarves are the same brands it is odd how color can influence texture. The sandstone just is the softest of it's kind I have found. Making the cuddliest combo I have made so far.
Each scarf set sells for $32.00. Separately, the hat is $12.00 and the scarf is $24.00, plus $5.00 for shipping and handling.

Scraps of the Beast
This combination seemed to take a life of its one and came alive, like a little soft creature. It is also a bit of a stash cleaner as I pulled several colors of yarn in as the background color.

Lavendar and Sun Rise
Sometimes (well pretty much any time I am knitting, part of me is happy) the colors just lift your spirits. Since I am a self proclaimed color junkie, these colors really were a good fix. Each scarf set sells for $32.00. Separately, the hat is $12.00 and the scarf is $24.00, plus $5.00 for shipping and handling.

It is so interesting to me to see how the color of the final product changes with the variations of the base (the Homespun) and the fluff (the Fun Fur). These two hat and scarf sets were created using the same color of Fun Fur, Citrus, with different colors of Homespun. The darker blue is Colonial and the lighter is Windsor.
Citrus and Blue
To make my hats and scarves I like to hold two strands of yarn together when knitting. My current obsession is using one strand of Lion Brand Homespun and one of Lion Brand Fun Fur. Each scarf set sells for $32.00. Separately, the hat is $12.00 and the scarf is $24.00, plus $5.00 for shipping and handling.
